THE SABBATH

The SABBATH of "REST" in our wonderful SAVIOR [for HE IS the GOD of the SABBATH - Mark 2:28 - "So the Son of Man is MASTER (GOD) EVEN OF THE SABBATH] - was meant to be the ONE DAY (the 7th day - YHWH'S PROCLAIMED DAY ON HIS CALENDAR - SATURDAY) in a BUSY WEEK where ALL BELIEVERS COULD REST IN HIM

Ex. 20:8

"[Earnestly] REMEMBER the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY [WITHDRAWN from COMMON EMPLOYMENT and DEDICATE it to YHWH GOD]

Ex. 20:10

But the SEVENTH DAY [NOT the 1st Day of the week that is Sunday - no - the 7th DAY that is SATURDAY]

is a SABBATH to YHWH your GOD; IN IT YOU SHALL NOT DO ANY WORK, you, OR YOUR SON, YOUR DAUGHTER,

YOUR MANSERVANT, your MAIDSERVANT, your DOMESTIC ANIMALS, or the SOJOURNER WITHIN YOUR GATES."

Just as the

RAINBOW

is the PHYSICAL SIGN and the SEAL of the NOAHIC COVENANT

Gen. 9:17 - "And YHWH said to Noah,

THIS RAINBOW is the TOKEN or SIGN of the COVENANT of solemn PLEDGE which I HAVE ESTABLISHED BETWEEN ME

and ALL FLESH UPON the earth"

the SIGN and SEAL of the ABRAHAMIC COVENANT

:9 "And YHWH said to Abraham, AS FOR YOU, YOU SHALL therefore KEEP MY COVENANT, YOU AND your DESCENDANTS AFTER YOU THROUGHOUT THEIR GENERATIONS.

:10 THIS IS MY COVENANT WHICH YOU SHALL KEEP, BETWEEN ME AND YOU AND your PROSPERITY AFTER YOU: EVERY MALE AMONG YOU SHALL BE CIRCUMCISED.

:11 ... and IT SHALL BE A TOKEN or SIGN of the COVENANT (the PROMISE or PLEDGE) BETWEEN ME AND YOU.

pointing to the NEW COVENANT for Jew AND Gentile.

The SABBATH [of REST] (the sign and seal of the Mosaic-covenant) Ex. 20:8 "[Earnestly] REMEMBER the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY [WITHDRAWN from COMMON EMPLOYMENT and DEDICATE it to YHWH GOD]"

YAHSHUA MESSIAH is also the GOD of the SABBATH:

IT'S A BLESSING:

Honoring the Sabbath is actually a BLESSING GIVEN originally to the children of Israel but ALSO to ALL BELIEVERS - a GIFT of our HEAVENLY FATHER HIMSELF to ALL WHO FOLLOW HIM –

and -

AS WE STEP INTO this HOLY SET APART DAY:

KEEPING IT - HONORING HIM and IT - it is PROMISED to BECOME A SPECIAL and LOVED TIME.

It is a TIME to SHUT OFF the NOISE and WORRIES and CARES of the WORLD and SPEND TIME TOGETHER AS A FAMILY in the PRESENCE of MESSIAH.

IT HONORS YHWH GOD:

It is a SPECIAL SET-APART DAY - A COMMANDMENT - that by KEEPING IT - HONORS GOD. It UNIFIES our FAMILY and SETS PRIORITIES FOR THEM.

IT’S NOT A BURDEN but a SECRET KEY:

The Sabbath was never meant to be a burden - it was meant to be a SECRET KEY to the BLESSINGS of YHWH GOD on HIS CHILDREN.

A TIME to PONDER ON HIS WORD - HIS PROMISES - SPEAKING IT OVER US AND OUR CHILDREN'S LIVES.

It is a DAY of REMEMBRANCE of the COVENANT of YHWH.

A DAY OF JOY and PEACE and RESTING IN HIM - and with the REST IN HIM COMES HEALING of our SPIRITS (HEARTS) - SOULS (MINDS) and our BODY and BODILY FUNCTIONS.

RENEWED AND REFRESHED:

It PROVIDES A REFRESHED SPIRIT and SOUL and BODY.

(When the people of Israel cried out to YHWH - the God of their forefathers - "... YHWH God HEARD THEIR SIGHING AND GROANING, and earnestly REMEMBERED HIS COVENANT with Abraham with Isaac and with Jacob." (Ex. 2:24). With a series of ten plagues upon Egypt, YHWH brought the Israelites OUT of EGYPT (New Testament/COVENANT - MESSIAH bring the sinner OUT of his Egypt [sin] and TO HIMSELF so that THEY COULD WORSHIP HIM - COME TO "REST" IN HIM. Ex. 19:3 "And Moses went up to YHWH God, and YHWH CALLED to him out of the mountain, SAY THIS to the house of Jacob and tell the Israelites: :4 You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I BORE YOU ON EAGLES' WINGS AND BROUGHT YOU TO MYSELF. :5 Now therefore, IF you WILL OBEY MY VOICE IN TRUTH and KEEP MY COVENANT THEN you SHALL BE MY OWN PECULIAR POSSESSION AND TREASURE from among and ABOVE ALL PEOPLES; for ALL THE EARTH IS MINE. :6 And YOU SHALL BE to Me a KINGDOM OF PRIESTS, a HOLY NATION [CONSECRATED] SET APART TO WORSHIP YHWH God] ...")

Isaiah 58:13-14

"IF you TURN AWAY your FOOT FROM TRAVELLING UNDULY on the SABBATH,

from DOING YOUR OWN PLEASURE ON MY HOLY DAY and

CALL the SABBATH a SPIRITUAL DELIGHT,

the HOLY DAY of YHWH GOD HONORABLE,

and HONOR HIM AND IT,

NOT GOING YOUR OWN WAY

or SEEKING OR FINDING YOUR OWN PLEASURE

or SPEAKING YOUR OWN IDLE WORDS,

THEN

WILL YOU DELIGHT YOURSELF in ELOHIM YHWH, your GOD (love Him), and

I WILL MAKE YOU TO RIDE ON THE HIGH PLACES of the earth (make you prosperous, successful in all you do)

and I WILL FEED YOU with the HERITAGE PROMISED for you" (all the good things will come on to you as promised).

Ex. 20:8

"[Earnestly] REMEMBER the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY [WITHDRAWN from COMMON EMPLOYMENT and DEDICATE it to YHWH GOD]"

Ex. 20:10

"But the SEVENTH DAY is a SABBATH to YHWH your GOD; IN IT YOU SHALL NOT DO ANY WORK, you, OR YOUR SON, YOUR DAUGHTER, YOUR MANSERVANT, your MAIDSERVANT, your DOMESTIC ANIMALS, or the SOJOURNER WITHIN YOUR GATES."

Rev. 14:12
"Here [comes in a call for] the STEADFASTNESS of the SAINTS (BELIEVERS) [the PATIENCE, the ENDURANCE of the PEOPLE OF GOD] THOSE who [HABITUALLY] KEEP GOD'S COMMANDMENTS and [their] FAITH in YESHUA MESSIAH."

Lev. 26:40-42 "... IF they CONFESS THEIR OWN AND their FATHERS' INIQUITIES in their TREACHERY (deceitfulness, betrayal, falseness, disloyalty, lies, untruthfulness, corruption, deception, duplicity, sins etc.) WHICH THEY COMMITTED AGAINST Me .. IF THEN their UNCIRCUMCISED HEARTS ARE HUMBLED ...... THEN WILL I [earnestly] REMEMBER MY COVENANT "

SAVIOR! - please help us to HEED YOUR WORD - to KEEP YOUR COMMANDMENTS - to WALK in YOUR WAYS - to FOLLOW YOU. Help us ABBA to BREAK FREE from the BONDAGES of PRIDE - STIFFNECKNESS - AROGANCE - DENIAL - RELIGION - CHURCH MAN-MADE TRADITION & DOGMA - to REPENT and CONFESS all our SINS (also the SINS of our fathers and forefathers) and have REPENTANT HEARTS so that we can RECEIVE FORGIVENESS and TURN AWAY from our former paths - TURNING to YOU. Help us to CIRCUMCISE our HEARTS (spirits) AND MINDS (souls) - cutting away ALL and EVERYTHING that is NOT FROM You. They will make their own NEW SABBATHS and FEASTS –

There are more than 40 COMMANDS in the OLD Testament (Covenant) to KEEP the SABBATH DAY (the SEVENTH DAY - that is SATURDAY) - all ORDERED - EVEN SUMMONED by YHWH HIMSELF.

(Scripture referring to the SABBATH: Gen. 2:2; Ex. 20:8-11; Lev. 23:1-3; Ex. 31:15-18; Deut. 9:10; Ex. 16:23; Neh. 9:14; Deut. 5:14; Isaiah 58:13; Ex.31:13; Lev. 19:3; 19:30; 26:2; Is. 56:4; Ezek. 20:12,13,16,20,21,24: 22:8,26; etc.)

The OLD TESTAMENT - the ONLY SCRIPTURES for the EARLY MESSIANIC BELIEVERS:

In the TIMES OF YAHSHUA ON EARTH and for the early MESSIANIC BELIEVERS (whether Jew or Gentile) - the OLD TESTAMENT (COVENANT) WERE the ONLY SCRIPTURES there was.

The NEW TESTAMENT FLOWED OVER FROM the OLD TESTAMENT:

The NEW TESTAMENT (New Covenant) FLOWED OVER FROM the OLD TESTAMENT (Old Covenant) - IN LINE with THE LAW and COMMANDMENTS (given to Moses) - INTO FULFILLMENT (sacrifices replaced with Messiah as the LAST and FOR ALL sacrifice) - CONTINUING in MESSIAH YAHSHUA.

YAHSHUA KEPT the SABBATH as the SEVENTH DAY:

YAHSHUA did NOT CHANGE the SABBATH DAY (SEVENTH DAY - that is SATURDAY) to SUNDAY (FIRST DAY of the WEEK) nor did HE TOLD HIS FOLLOWERS to DO SO or to do it in the future.

THEY WILL MAKE THEIR OWN NEW SABBATHS:

Amazingly, in the Biblical Book of Jubilees that was taken from the Scriptures for reasons by man (Catholic Church) - Yahweh told Moses BEFOREHAND (during the period that Moses was on Mount Sinai to receive the LAW and COMMANDMENTS) - that the people will GO AFTER NEW (man-made) SABBATHS AND FEASTS AND ORDINANCE.

ISAIAH 1:

This is exactly what happened in Isaiah's timeframe (Isaiah 1) - then AGAIN with the

CONSTANTINIAN SHIFT:

With Roman Emperor Constantine the Great's religious "SHIFT" DECEPTION - his mixture of Messianic beliefs and paganism (him a sun-worshipper BAAL/MOLECH WORSHIPPER till his death) - then

Pope Gregory with his NEW "GREGORIAN" TIME CALENDAR when the Roman Catholic SUN HONORING DAY (SUN-DAY - the first day of the week) became the NEW SABBATH DAY as it is still TODAY.

"Jub. 1:14 " And they will FORGET ALL My LAW (Torah) and ALL My COMMANDMENTS and ALL MY JUDGMENTS, and WILL GO ASTRAY as to NEW MONTHS, and (NEW) SABBATHS and (NEW) FESTIVALS ..."

THE ALL-MIGHTY CREATOR:

WHAT YHWH HAS DONE - HE HAS DONE - WHAT HE HAS SAID - HE HAS SAID - HE IS THE SAME YESTERDAY - TODAY AND TOMORROW. HE WILL NOT ALTER HIS COMMANDS/COMMANDMENTS. (Ps. 89:34 "My COVENANT I WILL NOT VIOLATE, NOR WILL I ALTER the UTTERANCES of MY LIPS")

COMPLETE HISTORY OF CREATION:

In Jubilees 2 Moses is given the complete history from Creation.

YHWH HIMSELF APPOINTED the SABBATH as A SIGN:

Jub. 2:1 "And the angel of the presence spoke to Moses according to the word of Yahweh, saying: Write the complete history of the creation, how in six days Yahweh Almighty finished all His works and all that he created and KEPT SHABBAT on the SEVENTH DAY and HALLOWED it for ALL AGES, and APPOINTED IT AS A SIGN FOR ALL HIS WORKS.

FIRST DAY: YHWH CREATED the HEAVEN and EARTH:

Jub 2:2 For on the first day He created the heavens which are above and the earth and the waters and ALL the spirits [malakim] which serve before Him ... He created the abysses and the darkness, eventide (and night) and the light, dawn and day, which He has prepared in the knowledge of His heart. :3 And thereupon we saw His works, and praised Him, and lauded before Him on account of all His works, for seven great works did He create on the first day.

SIXTH DAY of CREATION:

:13 And on the sixth day He created all the animals of the earth, and all the cattle and everything that moves on the earth.

MAN AND WOMAN:

:14 And after ALL this HE CREATED MAN, a MAN AND a WOMAN CREATED HE THEM, and gave him dominion over ALL that is upon the earth, and in the seas ... over the WHOLE EARTH He gave him dominion.

:16 And HE FINISHED ALL HIS WORK on the SIXTH DAY - ALL that is IN THE HEAVENS and on the EARTH, and IN THE SEAS and IN THE ABYSSES, and IN THE LIGHT and IN THE DARKNESS, and IN EVERYTHING.

YHWH GAVE A GREAT SIGN - the SABBATH DAY:

:17 AND HE GAVE US A GREAT SIGN, THE SABBATH DAY, THAT WE SHOULD WORK SIX DAYS, but KEEP SHABBAT ON THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL WORK.

ANGELS to KEEP the SABBATH WITH YHWH:

:18 AND ALL the ANGELS of the PRESENCE and ALL the ANGELS of SANCTIFICATION, these TWO GREAT CLASSES - HE HAS BIDDEN US to KEEP THE SABBATH WITH HIM in HEAVEN AND ON EARTH."

YHWH SAID - MY PEOPLE SHALL KEEP the SABBATH DAY and I WILL BLESS THEM - and I WILL BE THEIR KING:

:19 And He said to us: "Behold, I WILL SEPARATE UNTO MYSELF A PEOPLE from among all the peoples, and these SHALL KEEP THE SHABBAT DAY, and I WILL SANCTIFY them UNTO MYSELF as MY PEOPLE, and WILL BLESS THEM; as I HAVE SANCTIFIED the SHABBAT DAY and DO SANCTIFITY IT UNTO MYSELF, even SO WILL I BLESS THEM, and THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE and I WILL BE THEIR SOVEREIGN RULER (KING)."

Forgive us O Yahweh - that we did not keep YOUR SABBATH DAY! Forgive us for our LACK OF KNOWLEDGE - forgive us that we CLUNG to the FALSENESS of a DECEIVED religion/church and that we did not SOUGHT the TRUTH. Forgive us that we have RUN to THEOLOGICAL denominational BOOKS - the writings and perceptions of man - to FIND ANSWERS where we SHOULD HAVE COME to YOU - KNELT AT YOUR FEET and SOUGHT YOUR FACE!. Forgive us that we went under the COVERING OF FALSENESS in the CHURCH! That we MADE COVENANTS with false RELIGION that placed us under false religious organizations DOGMATIC CONTROL instead of being UNDER YOUR COVERING breaking COVENANT WITH YOU. O Father forgive us for IGNORING YOU - IGNORING and QUENCHING YOUR SPIRIT OF TRUTH and CLUNG to MAN-MADE RITUALS, TRADITIONS AND FEASTS - IGNORING YOUR APPOINTED TIMES AND SEASONS/FEASTS and YOUR SABBATH DAY - that we have PARTICIPATED in this FEASTS the same as the WORLD AND THE PAGANS DO AND DID. The SABBATH DAY.

(PROCLAIMED BY SUMMONS) - A Day of total rest.

It was proclaimed to be the 7th DAY - (each and every SATURDAY ) (NOT the 1st day of the week that is SUNDAY)

Leviticus 23:1-3 “YHWH said to Moses, Say to the Israelites, The SET FEASTS OR APPOINTED SEASONS of Elohim which you SHALL PROCLAIM as HOLY CONVOCATIONS, even, MY SET FEASTS, are these: SIX DAYS SHALL WORK BE DONE, but the

SEVENTH DAY is the SABBATH OF REST a HOLY CONVOCATION or ASSEMBLY by SUMMONS. You SHALL DO NO WORK ON THAT DAY; It is the Sabbath of Elohim IN ALL YOUR DWELLINGS.”

Gen. 2:2 “BY THE SEVENTH DAY YAHWEH COMPLETED HIS WORK which HE HAD DONE, and HE RESTED on the SEVENTH DAY from ALL HIS WORD which HE HAD DONE.”

Gen. 2:3 “Then Yahweh BLESSED the SEVENTH DAY and SANCTIFIED it, because in it HE RESTED from ALL HIS WORK which YHWH ELOHIM had CREATED and MADE.”

Ex. 20:8-11 “REMEMBER the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP it HOLY. ‘SIX DAYS you shall LABOR and DO ALL YOUR WORD, but the SEVENTH DAY is a SABBATH of ELOHIM your GOD; IN IT you shall NOT DO ANY WORK, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you.’ ”

Ex. 35:2 “For SIX DAYS WORK MAY BE DONE, BUT on the SEVENTH DAY YOU SHALL HAVE A HOLY DAY, a SABBATH of COMPLETE REST to the ELOHIM your GOD; WHOEVER DOES ANY WORK ON IT SHALL BE PUT TO DEATH.”

Ex. 31:17 “It is a SIGN BETWEEN ME and the sons of Israel FOREVER, FOR IN SIX DAYS the ELOHIM your YAHWEH GOD MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH, BUT on the SEVENTH DAY HE CEASED FROM LABOR, and WAS REFRESHED.”

Ex. 34:21 “YOU SHALL WORK SIX DAYS, but on the SEVENTH DAY YOU SHALL REST; EVEN DURING PLOWING TIMES AND HARVEST YOU SHALL REST.”

Ex. 35:3 “YOU SHALL NOT KINDLE A FIRE IN ANY OF YOUR DWELLINGS on the SABBATH DAY.”

Ex. 16:27-28 “It came about ON THE SEVENTH DAY that some of the people WENT OUT TO GATHER, but they FOUND NONE. Then YAHWEH said to Moses, ‘HOW LOND DO YOU REFUSE to KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS and MY INSTRUCTIONS?’ “

Ex. 31:14 “Therefore you ARE TO OBSERVE the SABBATH, for IT IS HOLY TO YOU. EVERYONE WHO PROFANES IT SHALL SURELY BE PUT TO DEATH; for WHOEVER DOES ANY WORK ON IT, that PERSON SHALL BE CUT OFF from among his people.”

Ezek. 20:13 “But the house of Israel REBELLED AGAINST ME in the wilderness, They DID NOT WALK IN MY STATUTES and they REJECTED MY ORDINANCES, by which, if a man observes them, HE WILL LIVE; and MY SABBATHS they GREATLY PROFANED. Then I RESOLVED TO POUR OUT MY WRATH ON THEM in the wilderness, to ANNIHILATE THEM.”

Ezek. 22:8 “You have DESPISED MY HOLLY THINGS and PROFANED MY SABBATHS.”

Lev. 23:3 “For SIX DAYS WORK MAY BE DONE, but ON the SEVENTH DAY THERE IS A SABBATH of COMPLETE REST, A HOLY CONVOCATION. YOU SHALL NOT DO ANY WORK; IT IS A SABBATH to the ELOHIM your YAHWEH GOD in ALL your dwellings.”

Lev. 24:8 “EVERY SABBATH DAY he shall SET IT IN ORDER BEFORE the ELOHIM your YAHWEH GOD CONTINUALLY; IT IS AN EVERLASTING COVENANT for the sons of Israel.”

Deut. 5:12-15 “OBSERVE the SABBATH DAY to KEEP IT HOLY, as ELOHIM your YAHWEH GOD COMMANDED you. ‘SIX DAYS you shall labor and do ALL your work, but the SEVENTH DAY is a SABBATH of the ELOHIM your YAHWEH GOD; IN IT you SHALL NOT DO ANY WORK, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant or your ox or any of your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you, so that your MALE SERVANT and your FEMALE SERVANT MAY REST AS WELL AS YOU.’ ”

Neh. 13:15-18 “In those days I saw in Judah some who were treading wine presses on the Sabbath, and bringing in sacks of grain and loading them on donkeys, as well as wine, grapes, figs and all kinds of loads, and they brought them into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day – so I admonished them on the day they sold food. Also men of Tyre were living there who imported fish and all kinds of merchandise, and sold them to the sons of Judah on the Sabbath, even in Jerusalem. Then I reprimanded the nobles of Judah and said to them, ‘What is the EVIL THING YOU ARE DOING, by PROFANING the SABBATH DAY?’ ‘Did not your fathers do the same, so that our ELOHIM YAHWEH GOD brought on us and on this city ALL THIS TROUBLE? Yet you are ADDING TO THE WRATH ON ISRAEL BY PROFANING the SABBATH.’ “

Jer. 17:21 “Thus says the ELOHIM your YAHWEH GOD, ‘TAKE HEED FOR YOURSELVES, and DO NOT CARRY ANY LOAD ON THE SABBATH DAY or BRING ANYTHING IN THROUGH the GATES of JERUSALEM.”

Jer. 17:27 “But if you DO NOT LISTEN TO ME to KEEP the SABBATH DAY HOLY BY NOT CARRYING A LOAD and COMING IN THROUGH the GATES of JERUSALEM ON THE SABBATH DAY, THEN I will KINDLE a FIRE in ITS GATES and IT WILL DEVOUR the PALACES of Jerusalem and NOT BE QUENCHED.”

Isaiah 56:2 “HOW BLESSED is the MAN WHO DOES THIS, And the SON OF MAN WHO TAKES HOLD OF IT; WHO KEEPS FROM PROFANING the SABBATH, and KEEPS HIS HAND FROM DOING EVIL.”

Ps. 118:24 “THIS is the DAY which ELOHIM YAHWEH HAS MADE; LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT.”

Ps. 95:10-11 “For forty years I LOATHED that GENERATION, And said they are a people WHO ERR IN THEIR HEART, And they DO NOW KNOW MY WAYS. ‘Therefore I SWORE IN MY ANGER, TRULY they SHALL NOT ENTER INTO MY REST.’ “

Heb. 4:9 “SO THERE REMAINS A SABBATH REST for the PEOPLE of YAHWEH GOD.”

Yeshua hold in His hand the WORD SHALOM - It is written in gold.

My dad stood before my mom and I, & the SHALOM firstly went right THROUGH MY DAD INTO US!

I saw heaven opening up and blessing pouring out on us ... many blessings!

Yeshua said “Can you see that I FULFILLED the LAW? – I am standing at the END OF THE LAW – but if you WANT TO BE IN LINE WITH ME – YOU WILL HONOR ME through KEEPING MY SHABBAT. You do not have to be a Jew - you are not keeping Shabbat because you are a Jew – You are HONORING ME.

When you keep My Holy Day, you are IN LINE WITH ME & ARE ABLE TO RECEIVE ALL THE ABUNDANT BLESSINGS THAT MY HOLY SHABBAT CARRIES!

Yeshua started to SPEAK BLESSING UPON BLESSING UPON BLESSING and HE RELEASING it UNTIL THE SUN SETS Saturday night (end of Shabbat).

BLESSINGS ARE RELEASED EVERY SHABBAT but ONLY THOSE WHO HONOR MY HOLY DAY ARE ABLE to RECEIVE it.

My dad prayed the PRIESTLY BLESSING OVER US & HE WROTE YHWH (with oil) on our foreheads so that we may be blessed.
