Let's FOLLOW the EXAMPLE of our SAVIOR

THE ACT of BAPTISM (TOTALLY IMMERSED in WATER)  (Ref. 29-05-17)

Baptism is an important event in EVERY believer's WALK WITH MESSIAH YAHSHUA. The Bible talks about the WATER IMMERSION BAPTISM in which an ACCOUNTABLE (answerable) BELIEVER (and AFTER REPENTANCE) are BAPTIZED INTO MESSIAH YAHSHUA – CLOTHING himself/herself WITH HIM.

YASHUA was CIRCUMSIZED – DEDICATED AND BAPTIZED:

YAHSHUA WAS CIRCUMCISED:

Yahshua was CIRCUMCISED as the custom was, as infant –

Luke 2:21 “And at the END OF THE EIGHT DAYS, when [the BABY YAHSHUA] WAS TO BE CURCUMCIZED ... HE WAS CALLED YAHSHUA [(YAH (YAHWEH) is SALVATION], the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.

YAHSHUA WAS DEDICATED:

Luke 2:22 “And when the time for their purification [the mother’s purification and the BABY’S DEDICATION] came ... they BROUGHT Him up to Jerusalem to PRESENT Him to YAHWEH. :23 As it is written in the Law of Elohim YHWH, Every FIRSTBORN male that opens the womb shall be SET APART AND DEDICATED AND CALLED HOLY TO YHWH”

YAHSHUA WAS BAPTIZED: (BAPTISM OF REPENTANCE)

Luke 3:3 “And he (John) went into all the country round about the Jordan, PREACHING A BAPTISM OF REPENTANCE (of HEARTY AMENDING of their WAYS, with ABHORRENCE of PAST WRONGDOING) UNTO FORGIVENESS OF SIN.

:12 Even taxpayers came to be BAPTIZED ...

:21 Now when ALL the PEOPLE WERE BAPTIZED, and when YAHSHUA ALSO had been BAPTIZED, and while He was STILL PRAYING the [visible] HEAVEN WAS OPENED

:22 And the HOLY SPIRIT DESCENDED UPON Him in bodily form LIKE A DOVE, and a VOICE CAME FROM HEAVEN, SAYING, YOU ARE MY SON, My BELOVED! IN YOU I AM WELL PLEASED AND FIND DELIGHT!.

Yahshua was  BAPTIZED by JOHN the Baptist BEFORE He was TESTED by the Devil  in the desert and BEFORE His MINISTRY had begun.

 

In the words of John the Baptist:

Matt. 3:11 “I indeed BAPTIZE YOU IN WATER BECAUSE OF REPENTANCE [that is, because of YOUR CHANGING YOUR MINDS FOR THE BETTER, HEARTILY AMENDING YOUR WAYS, with ABHORRENCE OF YOUR PAST SINS], but HE WHO IS COMING AFTER me is MIGHTIER than I; HE WILL BAPTIZE YOU WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND WITH FIRE.

:12 His WINNOWING FAN IS IN HIS HAND, and He will THOROUGHLY CLEAR OUT AND CLEAN HIS THRESHING FLOOR AND GATHER AND STORE HIS WHEAT IN HIS BARN, but the CHAFF HE WILL BURN UP WITH FIRE THAT CANNOT BE PUT OUT.

:13 Then YAHSHUA CAME FROM GALILEE to the Jordan to John TO BE BAPTIZED by him.

​

:14 But John protested strenuously, having in mind to prevent Him, saying, It is I who need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?

 

:15 But Yahshua replied to him ‘Permit it just now; for THIS is the FITTING WAY for [both of] US to FULFILL ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS [that is, to perform COMPLETELY WHAT IS RIGHT]. Then he PERMITTED Him.

 

:16 And when  YAHSHUA WAS BAPTIZED, HE WENT UP at once OUT OF the WATER ...

 

Paul said in his letter to the Romans: DON’T BE IGNORANT: be BAPTIZED INTO MESSIAH:

Rom. 6:3 “Are you ignorant of the fact that ALL OF US WHO HAVE BEEN BAPTIZED INTO YAHSHUA MESSIAH WERE BAPTIZED INTO HIS DEATH?”

BURIED WITH HIM by BAPTISM into DEATH (of the OLD SELF): 

Rom. 6:4 “We were BURIED therefore WITH HIM by the BAPTISM INTO DEATH ...”

​

AND RAISED WITH HIM by COMING OUT OF THE WATER INTO NEW LIFE (IN Him):

Rom 6:4b “ ... so that JUST AS MESSIAH was RAISED from the DEAD by the glorious [power] of the FATHER, so we TOO MIGHT [HABITUALLY] LIVE AND BEHAVE IN NEWNESS OF LIFE.

BY BAPTISM we are SHARING HIS DEATH AND RESURRECTION – ONE WITH MESSIAH and LIVING a NEW LIFE – LIVING FOR YHWH:

Rom. 6:5 “For IF WE HAVE BECOME ONE WITH HIM by SHARING A DEATH LIKE HIS, we shall ALSO BE [ONE WITH HIM in SHARING] HIS RESURRECTION [ by a NEW LIFE – LIVE FOR YHWH ]”

​

Matt. 3:5-6 “Then Jerusalem and all Judea and all the country round about the Jordan went out to him (John the Immerser (Baptizer); AND THEY WERE BAPTIZED INTO THE JORDAN BY HIM, CONFESSING THEIR SINS.”

​

SO WHAT NOW?

We have seen from the above - there is firstly REPENTANCE involved BEFORE Baptism and for repentance we have to be an accountable person of age.

​

Secondly - The water baptism is a BAPTISM “INTO” MESSIAH – meaning a symbolic ‘dying’ (in sin and self) and resurrection (into NEW LIFE) – a CHANGE of ones path and ways – living a life for YHWH God – being “CLOTHED” with Messiah – HIM IN US and US IN HIM (John 15:4 “Dwell IN Me, and I WILL DWELL IN you”).

​

Mark 16:16 “He who BELIEVES AND IS BAPTIZED ... will be saved ...” 

​

FOLLOWING MESSIAH’S EXAMPLE:

So LET’S  FOLLOW the EXAMPLE of our MESSIAH – BEING OBEDIENT to HIM –

BAPTIZE YOURSELF!

Fill your bathtub, ensuring that you can be totally submerged and follow the directions underneath:

BEFORE GOING INTO THE WATER – REMEMBER - IT IS AN IMMERSION – a  TOTAL SUBMERSION -  symbolizing the “DEATH of the OLD SELF”  (baptism into Yahshua’s death) and when coming out of the water symbolizing NEW LIFE IN MESSIAH  as HIS CHILD – FOLLOWING HIM (baptism into Yahshua’s resurrection).

PRAYER:

Yahsua Messiah   - YOU ARE THE LIVING WORD and YOU SAY that we have to BELIEVE and BE BAPTIZED  -  (Mark 16:16). I HAVE REPENTED OF MY SIN  (Matt. 4:17)  I HAVE DONE IT (Gal. 2:20) – and TODAY I COME TO YOU TO BE BAPTIZED by IMMERSION - IN YOU – in the NAME OF THE FATHER, and of the SON and of Your HOLY RUACH SPIRIT (Matt. 28:19)

GO INTO the WATER and before immersion pray the following prayer:

It is my desire to be baptized in Your Name Yahshua my Messiah. I am asking You to receive me as Your own. I am going into the water and coming up out of the water as a symbol of Your death and resurrection.  I ask You by the power of Your Spirit to raise my flesh from the dead and make me alive to serve You. As Your Body was raised from the grave, regenerate me and “circumcise” my heart  (Col. 2:11-14). Renew my body unto obedience to You (Titus 3:5) Receive me   Abba – Yahshua and Spirit as Your child as I declare today my unwavering faith in You. I belong to You, I declare it into the heavenly realm, and I trust and believe in You - as I give my entire life over to You.

IMMERSION (every part of you must beeen covered with water)

Come OUT of the WATER - PRAYER:

From Col. 2:12; Gal. 3:27; Matt. 3:4-7

Father, I have been buried with Messiah in baptism, and I were raised with Him through faith in the working of Yahweh, Who raised Messiah from the dead. I have been clothed  with this act of baptism  with Messiah Yahshua. I have been united with Him in death in order that, just as He has been raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, I too may live a new life.  The old self has been crucified with Messiah, so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with. Thank You Father, Messiah and Spirit of Truth for the miracle, in Yahshua Messiah’s name. Amen and amen.

2 Thess. 2:9-10 “The COMING of the LAWLESS ONE, the ANTICHRIST, is through the ACTIVITY and WORKING of SATAN … And by UNLIMITED SEDUCTION to EVIL and with ALL WICKED DECEPTION of THOSE who are PERISHING because they DID NOT WELCOME the TRUTH but REFUSED to LOVE it that they MIGHT be SAVED.

 

:11 Therefore YAH SENDS UPON them a MISLEADING INFLUENCE, a WORKING of ERROR and a STRONG DELUSION to MAKE THEM BELIEVE what is FALSE. In order that ALL MAY BE JUDGED and CONDEMNED who DID NOT BELIEVE in the TRUTH but instead took PLEASURE in UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.”

 

Rev. 3:3 “  … and hold FAST, and REPENT …”

 

2 Peter 3:3-4 “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their OWN LUSTS …”

 

1 Tim. 4:1 “Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to SEDUCING SPIRITS, and DOCTRINES of DEVILS …”

 

2 Tim. 3:1-4 “This know also, that in the last days PERILOUS TIMES shall come …”

 

PERILOUS TIMES:

In 2 Timothy Pauls describes the last days … the end-times as PERILOUS meaning DANGEROUS times … UNSAFE …  INSECURE … RISKY … TERRIFYING … SCARY … ALARMING … WORRYING … DREADFUL … SHOCKING … PANICKING etc.

 

We are indeed living in perilous times. Besides the pharmakeia witchcraft potions (vacceens) that were forced on us all with might … for the past two years, the entire world was told that wearing a MASK … COVERING THE FACE … would keep you safe as it  would stop the spread of the C-virus.

 

BREATHING NORMALLY - A NATURAL (God-given) ANTIVIRAL ACTIVITY:

During an extensive study, Harvard University has now found that the NATURAL EXCHANGE of carbon dioxide WASTE  for FRESH OXYGEN in the lungs (also known as RESPIRATION) is a POWERFUL ANTIVIRAL ACTIVITY that is DIRECTLY INTERFERED with by wearing the masks … putting our bodies at great RISK.
