Spiritual warfare (16)  - TRADITION (and the false TRINITY) - 22 November 2017

 

The enemy of our souls - the PRINCE of the WORLD (John 14:30) - the PRINCE of the AIR (Eph. 2:2) the KING of the BOTTOMLESS PIT (Rev. 9:11) -  the prince of DEMONS (Matt. 12:24) the EVIL GENIUS PRINCE of the world (John 12:31) has ONLY ONE THING IN MIND - DESTRUCTION of the HUMAN RACE. He knows very well that he CANNOT STOP people from being RELIGIOUS and therefore he PERVERTS the RELIGIOUS INSTINT of MANKIND through his "weapon" of DECEPTION.

 

The spirits of TRADITION:

The SPIRITS of TRADITION are a GROUP of evil spirits - MOTIVATING and ENCOURAGING LOYALTY and OBEDIENCE to RELIGIOUS  CONCEPTS - OPPOSING and COUNTERFEITING the TRUTH of the WORD of GOD and the TRUE WORKING of the  HOLY SPIRIT of YAHWEH.

 

The spirits of TRADITION work CLOSELY TOGETHER with their co-partners - RELIGION AND CULTURE. These three GROUP TOGETHER FORMING a false TRINITY - operating as the "REAL THING" by deceiving people into ACCEPTING them without questioning. Most people usually BELIEF what they are TAUGHT by their denomination (church) WITHOUT finding the TRUTH at the FEET of YAHSHUA for themselves. The more we are TRANSFORMED INTO the IMAGE OF OUR SAVIOR - the MORE WE WILL BE IMMUNE to the ENEMY'S DECEPTIONS.

 

Paul says in his letter to the Romans:

Rom 12:2 "DO NOT BE CONFORMED to this world, (this age), [FASHIONED AFTER and ADAPTED to its EXTERNAL, SUPERFICIAL CUSTOMS] but be TRANSFORMED (CHANGED) by the [ENTIRE] RENEWAL OF YOU MIND [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may PROVE [for yourselves] WHAT IS THE GOOD and ACCEPTABLE AND PERFECT WILL OF YHWH G-D, EVEN the THING WHICH IS GOOD AND ACCEPTABLE AND PERFECT [in HIS SIGHT for you]."

 

For many years now, the acceptance of electronic devices in the worship meetings (churches) became standard and the need for bringing a Bible to the meetings became unnecessary  - robbing the people of the wonderful experience of reading the Scripture for themselves from the Word of Yah. WE NEED to BE WELL KNOWLEDGED with the WORD of YAHWEH - to be FILLED with HIS WORD - so that HIS WORD CAN SUSTAIN US in our DAILY BATTLES.

 

NON-CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS:

It is obvious that only SUPERNATURAL POWER (from the KINGDOM of DARKNESS/EVILNESS) can DRIVE MEN to WORSHIP things like TREES - ROCKS - RATS - SPIRITS -the MOON - the SUN - SNAKES - WATER - ANGELS - etc.

 

It should then also be obvious that only SUPERNATURAL POWER from the KINGDOM of DARKNESS can KEEP PEOPLE AWAY from WORSHIPPING the TRUE GOD of ISRAEL (ELOHIM YAHWEH) turning AWAY from HIM to FALSE GODS even if it is because of a LACK OF KNOWLEDGE (Hos. 4:6).

 

Scripture tells us that we SHOULD BE ALIVE in MESSIAH - STANDING ON THE TRUTH of the WORD of YAH -  for once we were DEAD by our SINS in which we walked HABITUALLY -  FOLLOWING the COURSE and FASHION of the WORLD - under the SWAY (power, influence, command, dominance, grip) of the TENDENCY (drift, movement, bent, leaning) of the present age -  FOLLOWING the DEVIL who is the PRINCE of POWER of the AIR by BEING OBEDIENT AND UNDER the CONTROL of the DEMON SPIRIT that still CONSTANTLY WORKS in the DISOBEDIENT.

 

Eph. 2:1-2 "And YOU [HE MADE ALIVE] when YOU WERE DEAD (SLAIN) by [YOUR] TRESPASSES and SINS. In which at ONE TIME YOU WALKED [HABITUALLY]. You were FOLLOWING the COURSE AND FASHION OF THIS WORLD [were UNDER THE SWAY of the TENDENCY of this PRESENT AGE], FOLLOWING the PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR. [You WERE OBEDIENT TO AND UNDER THE CONTROL OF the [DEMON] SPIRIT that STILL CONSTANTLY WORKS in the SONS OF DISOBEDIENCE [the CARLESS, the REBELLIOUS and the UNBELIEVING, WHO GO AGAINST the PURPOSES OF YHWH.]

 

The FALSE TRINITY (RELIGION - TRADITION AND CULTURE) is WORKING  and has INFILTRATED   the church  of MESSIAH  - and their WORKING and INFLUENCE in the DENOMINATIONAL TRADITIONS AND CULTURE is GREATER that IT WILL EVER BE POSSIBLE to DETERMINE.

 

It SPREADS into every local church and across every denomination locally and globally to a greater or lesser extent. This fact is demonstrated by the theological disagreements and bad relationships which exists between churches and church denominations - and also within individual local churches or groups of churches.

 

These spirits of evilness will show its ugly head when a person full of the mercy of Yahweh and the power of His Spirit confronts (religious) people  - with the TRUTH. The TRUTH STIRS up these demons and through their working in members of the congregation will ATTACK the servants of Yahweh G-d with  ALL KINDS OF UNREASONABLE AND MALICIOUS ATTITUDES or ACTS.

 

MESSIAH'S GREATEST OPPOSITION:

When Yahshua walked the face of the earth, He DROVE OUT many DEMONS and evil SPIRITS - healing many people with  DEMONS PROVOKING SICKNESS and DISEASE but

It was the RELIGIOUS GROUP of SPIRITS in people that was HIS GREAT OPPOSITION.

These people full of RELIGIOUS CONCEPTS - thought they were serving and representing the true religion of Yahweh. They did NOT wanted to be SET FREE for these spirits made them FEEL IMPORTANT and MORE RIGHTEOUS than those around them. Because of their HARDNESS of HEART and PRIDE - EVEN the SON of YAH COULD NOT HELP THEM to COME to the FATHER.

 

These Pharisees and Scribes, the CHIEF PRIESTS HIGHLY EDUCATED in the LAW - HATED YAHSHUA and CONSPIRED to KILL Him. Motivated by PRIDE, ENVY and SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS, they REFUSED to HUMBLE THEMSELVES and BELIEVE that YAHSUA was indeed the MESSIAH.

 

Satan  had STOLEN their SALVATION:

They were LOST and STAYED LOST, DESTINED for eternal punishment even AFTER they were CONFRONTED with the FACT of YAHSHUA'S RESURRECTION. We are making a huge mistake if we think that we cannot be influenced by these spirits and sadly it is the ones influenced by these spirits that usually think like that.  NOT FIGHTING these evilness - can be an indication that we are HAPPY to be SECURELY IN THEIR GRIP while we are PERISHING because of a LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. (Hos. 4:6)

 

CHARACTERISTICS of the WORKING of RELIGION - TRADITION AND CULTURE:

People under the influence of these spirits are so full of PRIDE that they 'think' themselves to be righteous - thinking themselves to be in right standing with Yahweh.

 

IN BONDAGE: They live under BONDAGE without even knowing it. These evil spirits are a STRONGHOLD that is NOT EASILY BROKEN - and these spirits will manifest in their victims  ATTACKING and VERBALLY ABUSING ANYONE who CONFRONTS them with TRUTH.

 

FEAR MAN MORE THAN GOD:

People under the influence of these spirits fear man more than Yahweh G-d.  - Prov. 29:25 - "The FEAR of MAN BRINGS a SNARE, but HE WHO TRUSTS in Yahweh WILL BE KEPT SAFE."

 

KEEPING MANY OUT of the KINGDOM of HEAVEN:

These evil spirits are KEEPING MANY PEOPLE OUT of the KINGDOM OF Yahweh G-d.

 

John 12:42 - "And yet, [in spite of all this] MANY EVEN of the LEADING MEN (the AUTHORITIES AND THE NOBLES) BELIEVED AND TRUST IN HIM, BUT BECAUSE of the Pharisees they DID NOT CONFESS IT, for FEAR THAT [if they would ACKNOWLEDGE HIM] THEY would be EXPELLED FROM the SYNAGOGUE. :43 For they LOVED the APPROVAL and the PRAISE and the GLORY THAT COME FROM MEN [INSTEAD of and] MORE THAN THE GLORY that COMES from G-d. [They VALUED their CREDIT WITH MEN MORE than their CREDIT WITH G-d.]"

 

Following the CHURCH instead of MESSIAH:

In many a church we BEHAVE in a CERTAIN WAY, FOLLOWING the RULES (laws) of the specific denomination  - the RITUALS  - the TRADITION  - the CULTURE - instead of FOLLOWING  the TRUTH of the WORD of G-D. We are FOLLOWING the CHURCH INSTEAD of FOLLOWING MESSIAH.

 

WORKS to GET ABBA'S APPROVAL:

The false Trinity seeks to have us SERVE G-d in ORDER to GAIN HIS APPROVAL rather than having RECEIVING OUR APPROVAL from the SACRIFICE of MESSIAH. WORKS alone can NEVER bring us into heaven.

 

EMPHASIS on EXTERNAL APPEARANCE:

CARNALITY AND LEGALISM spreads forth from emphasis on external appearance spreading forth from the false Trinity. Religion - Tradition and culture can put new clothes on man, but MESSIAH PUTS A NEW MAN in the clothes.

 

TRADITION - "THIS is the WAY we have ALWAYS DONE IT":

In Mark 7:25 the Pharisees and scribes kept asking Yahshua: "Why do Your disciples NOT ORDER THEIR WAY OF LIVING ACCCORDING to the TRADITION HANDED DOWN BY THE FOREFATHERS to be OBSERVED, but EAT with hands unwashed and ceremonially not purified?"

 

WARNING: This ATTITUTE of LEGALISM and/or TRADITION LIMITS YAHWH'S SPIRIT - quenching Him and may also be that HE WOULD LEAVE us ALONE.

 

TRADITION - RELIGION AND CULTURE QUENCH the HOLY SPIRIT:

The evil Trinity will fight against the Holy Spirit's manifestation and His miracle power working in the church or in a person, because they are functioning in that capacity and has taken that positions captive by building up a stronghold. They will at all cost destroy, crush, overturn abolish and put an end to the work of the Holy Spirit.

 

Paul warns us not to do that in 1 Thess.5:19 "DO NOT QUENCH (SUPPRESS [destroy, crush, overturn, abolish, put an end to, annihilate] or SUBDUE [reduce, calm down, reduce, restrain, control, discipline, hold back]) the HOLY SPIRIT"

 

Messiah Himself said to the Pharisees "Thus you are NULLIFYING and MAKING VOID and OF NO EFFECT [the AUTHORITY OF] the WORD of YAH THROUGH YOUR TRADITION, which you [IN TURN] HAND ON. AND MANY THINGS OF THIS KIND YOU ARE DOING." (Mark 7:13).

 

IT DENIES the HOLY SPIRIT'S MIRACLE working POWER GIFTS:

1 Thess.5:20  "DO NOT SPURN [reject, scorn, despise, disdain, look down at, cast-off, throw away, scrap, discard] the GIFTS and UTTERANCES [remarks, words, speeches, announcements, warnings, declarations]of the PROPHETS (do NOT DEPRECIATE [belittle, criticize, run down, devalue, deflate, reduce, decline, decrease in value] PROPHETIC REVELATIONS [disclosures] nor DESPISE [look down on, loathe, hate, scorn, disrespect, ridicule, sneering] INSPIRED INSTRUCTION or EXHORTATION [appeal, urging, advice, counsel, information, guidance] or WARNING."]

 

EMPHASIS ON SPECIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS and RITUALS:

BAPTIMS:

Denominational rituals of baptism vary from sprinkling or tapping of water on the infant's forehead to immersion of infants (in Spain a baptism of an infant by immersion led to drowning of the baby) to baptism by the Catholic church of an infant by tapping him/her with oil on the forehead to the baptism of a person of age by immersion with or without repentance.

 

TRADITION (and its evil agents) KEEPS the different DENOMINATIONS into BONDAGE by having the church and its members ACCEPTING the METHOD or RITUAL of the TRADITION of the certain church instead of FOLLOWING the EXAMPLE of the WORD of YAHWEH. These evil spirits WILL FIGHT VICIOUSLY to KEEP the members in BONDAGE and KEEPING them FROM A CLEAR KNOWLEDGE of the WORD of G-D.

 

In Scripture - the ONLY (WATER) BAPTISM that is prescribed - is the BAPTISM (immersion) OF REPENTANCE.

 

EVILNESS WILL COME AGAINST THE TRUTH with MIGHT:

TRADITION and its HORDES  will come with MIGHT AGAINST the TRUTH - for the enemy knows that if we are BAPTIZED - being OBEDIENT to the WORD (with the IMMERSION BAPTISM AFTER REPENTANCE) we are MAKING A STATEMENT into ALL SPACE AND DIMENSION (spiritual universe) that we ARE DYING WITH MESSIAH in our SIN (symbolically) and RAISED WITH HIM (symbolically) INTO A NEW LIFE with MESSIAH.

 

The ACT of BAPTISM (of REPENTANCE) is the MOST IMPORTANT RITUAL a follower of Messiah can do - it is the BEGINNING of a TRULY  INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP with MESSIAH -  into WALKING IN HIS FULLNESS - into HIS BLESSINGS - into HIS PRESENCE - into COMING IN AND COMING OUT FREELY from the THRONE ROOM of G-D.

 

GO - FIRST MAKE DISCIPLES then BAPTIZE them:

Messiah - just before He WAS TAKEN INTO HEAVEN told His disciples to GO and FIRSTLY -  MAKE DISCIPLES - then - once they are DISCIPLES - to BAPTIZE them. Matt. 28:19 "GO THEN and MAKE DISCIPLES of ALL the nations, BAPTIZING them into the name of the Father, and of the SON and of the Holy Spirit. :20 TEACHING them to OBSERVE everything that I HAVE COMMANDED YOU ..."

 

Paul said in Acts 13:24 that before Messiah came, John (the Baptist) had ALREADY PREACHED the BAPTISM of REPENTANCE to all the people of Israel.

 

BAPTISM (of repentance and with full immersion) is a PERSONAL STATEMENT of our FAITH:

It is to FOLLOW in the STEPS of our MESSIAH - IMITATING Him - FOLLOWING HIS TEACHINGS - DO WHAT HE DID in FAITH and in OBEDIENCE.

 

MESSIAH'S EXAMPLE:

We read in Luke 2:21 that Yahshua was CIRCUMCISED and named Yahshua (Yah is Salvation) - verse 22 Yahshua was DEDICATED and HE WAS ALSO BAPTIZED as an EXAMPLE of what is the RIGHT THING to DO.

 

Matt. 3:13-14 "Then Yahshua came from Galilee to the Jordan to John to be BAPTIZED by him. But John protested ... having in mind to prevent Him ...

 

:15 But Yahshua replied to him 'PERMIT it JUST NOW; for THIS is the FITTING WAY for (BOTH OF) US to FULFILL ALL RIGHTEOUSMESS [that is, to PERFORM COMPLETELY WHATEVER IS RIGHT] Then he PERMITTED him."

 

It is obvious that baptism as is prescribed in Scripture and as an EXAMPLE of what we should do by our SAVIOR - is NOT REPLACING the CIRCUMCISION  nor is it REPLACING DEDICATION.

 

It is STANDING ON ITS OWN as A SYMBOL of our FAITH - a REMINDER of DYING to SELF (and sin) and LIVING a NEW LIFE IN MESSIAH.

 

LACK of MERCY - LACK of CONCERNS for the NEEDS of PEOPLE and HYPOCRISY:

When the religious leaders complained about the disciples who picked of the spikes of grain - saying that they are doing what is unlawful and not permitted on the Sabbath - Yahshua replied "But if you had known what this means, 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice', you would not have condemned the guiltless.' " (Matt. 12:7).

 

Many a Christian is walking about with these evil spirit-demons on their backs, attracting more demons - not even realizing that they are in bondage - picking on and quarreling with others regarding nonsense showing a lack of mercy and or a lack of concern for the needs of others. Full of hypocrisy they hold onto 'secret' sin - to show their "holy" Sunday face in church. Many are so 'holy' in church but treat their workers like dirt.

 

The spirits of JEALOUSY AND ENVY:

We must remember that ONCE a STRONGHOLD IS BUILT - ANY SPIRITS can COME IN TO HELP. When jealousy and envy came into the lives of people, they would resent and dislike anyone who seems to be more 'spiritual' than they. They would even discard prophetic word as coming from the devil just like the religious leaders did with Yahshua (Matt. 12:24-27). When in BONDAGE we CANNOIT REJOICE and BE GLAD when RECEIVING TRUTH - a MESSAGE of WARNING - a PROPHETIC WORD - INSTEAD we are FEELING "HURT" - FINDING FAULT with the ANOINTED of GOD - being STUCK IN OUR SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS.

 

ALL that WE RECEIVE is A GIFT from our KING:

In our walk of faith it does not matter who Yahweh works through. Our aim must be to make disciples for His kingdom. All that we ARE and ALL that WE HAVE   -  ANYTHING we RECEIVE AS A GIFT (spiritual GIFTS of the SPIRIT) are bestowed upon us as a GIFT FROM our KING.

 

Prayer:

Abba we KNEEL before YOUR THRONE and ASK FOR MERCY - we ask for SPIRITUAL EYES to be OPENED, EARS to HEAR and people to HEED YOUR WORD. Father give us a HUNGER for YOUR WORD - give us AN APPETITE for YOUR WORD - GIVE US the WILL to HEED your WORD - to BE OBEDIENT - to REPENT of our wrongs - and to FIND TRUTH. In YAHSHUA'S NAME. Amen.
